Terms

Terms, in plain words

What you agree to when you run your organisation on agentgov, join one, or use the developer app.

Last updated 27 October 2026

The short version. agentgov is free and provided as it is. If you run an organisation on it, you choose the rules and what is watched, and you tell your people first; we keep the activity on your behalf. It is rules plus watching, not a lock, and it is not legal advice. The developer app reads code on your computer: a code reading, not a legal opinion.

Who we are

agentgov is made and run by Innovate d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia. Reach us through the contact form.

Free, and as it is

agentgov for IT (the rules, the invitations, the dashboard, the activity log, the settings files) and the developer app cost nothing. We may change, limit or stop any part of it, including the limits that keep the service up. If we ever introduce a paid plan, it will be announced on this site before anything changes, and nothing is charged unless you choose to pay. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

For organisations

  • You choose the rules and what is watched: which rules are on, whether agents must report, how long activity is kept, whether computers report.
  • Inform your people before you watch. The join page and the invite mail tell each person what IT sees and never sees; they help, they do not replace your own notice.
  • You are responsible for the lawful basis of watching your people, and for any works-council or employee consultation where it applies.
  • Rules plus watching, not a lock. agentgov tells every connected agent the rules and shows you what was reported. Where you deploy our settings files, the app itself enforces some rules. We give no guarantee that an agent follows a rule, that every action is reported, or that a report is true: a person can still open another chat, another app or another computer.
  • Not legal advice. Nothing agentgov shows, including the rule sets and what they say about the law, is legal advice. Check your local rules with your lawyer.
  • The person who creates an organisation becomes its first admin and is responsible for its admins, rules, invitations, reporting keys and decisions. Keep reporting keys like passwords; retire a key when a computer leaves.

Processing on your organisation's behalf

For the activity of your organisation's people, your organisation is the controller and we process personal data on your organisation's behalf:

  • Subject and duration: the agentgov for IT service, while the organisation exists.
  • People: the people your admins invite, and the admins.
  • Data: as listed on the privacy page: email, role and display name, apps used and when, tool and connector names, rule hits, requests and decisions, "stuck" notes, one short cleaned sentence about the kind of work, and what computers you set up report.
  • Purpose: showing your organisation its rules, requests and its agents' activity.
  • Our duties: we process only on your instructions as configured in the dashboard; the people who run the service are bound to confidentiality; we keep it secure: reporting keys are stored only as fingerprints, each organisation has its own isolated store, and AI answers show hints instead of email addresses.
  • Sub-processors: Cloudflare and Resend, as on the privacy page. We tell your admins before we add one.
  • People's requests: each person can see and download their own data from their join page; we help you with other requests through the contact form.
  • Deletion: on retention expiry, and at once when the organisation is deleted.

This section does not replace a signed agreement where your law requires one; write to us if you need one.

For people in an organisation

When you join, your organisation's admins see what the join page lists, and your agent follows the organisation's rules and reports to it. You can see what IT sees about you, download it, and leave at any time from your join page. Leaving stops your agent from reading the rules and reporting; settings IT installed on a company computer are IT's to remove.

Using it fairly

  • Watch only people you are allowed to watch, and only after you told them.
  • Do not send activity under another person's name, copy a reporting key off a computer, or use agentgov to collect anything it was not made to collect.
  • Do not use the service to attack a system, to extract secrets, or to get around anyone's controls; do not overload it or try to get around its limits.
  • Run the developer app only on apps you own or are allowed to work on, and share a report's link and code only with people who should see it.

The developer app

The agentgov app reads your project folder read-only, keeps what it makes in .agentgov inside the project, starts your own code only after you say yes, and contacts only our server. You may install and use it free of charge on your own computers; you may not modify, redistribute or sell it without our written permission.

A code reading, not a legal opinion

Every finding, score, risk tier and document the developer app produces is a reading of your code by your own coding agent, with the file and the line to check. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. It is not legal advice, not a compliance certificate and not a security audit. Take the AI Act tier and the documents to a lawyer; take the security findings to a person who can verify them. A code reading, not a legal opinion.

What is yours

Your organisation's rules, requests, decisions and activity are your organisation's; an admin may export them or delete the organisation, which removes them. A shared report is yours; we host it at your request until you delete it. The documents the developer app writes are yours. Our rule sets, settings-file templates and know-how remain ours; you may use them through the service and may not extract them to build a competing one.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the service or from acting, or not acting, on what it shows: a rule an agent did not follow, an action that was not reported, a report that was wrong, a finding you followed or one it missed. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

Slovenian law applies; the courts of Ljubljana have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection where you live. The texts on this site may be quoted under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to agentgov.si.

Privacy

How we treat personal data is on the privacy page.

Changes

If these terms change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. Using the service after that means the new terms apply.
